► All kinds of media submissions are welcome (art, writings, edits, etc). Entries can be in any language.► A.I. and plagiarism are strictly forbidden. The content you share must be your own.► Both SFW and NSFW entries are allowed, but any adult content must be tagged appropiately and hid under a spoiler or adult content label. Likewise, do NOT forget to add trigger warnings / content warnings as needed.► Controversial or "proship" themes are always allowed in our events.► When sharing an explicit or controversial content on Twitter, please do not use character names as tags. Avoid using the #VINLAND_SAGA tag as well or any other official tag. If you want your work to be retweeted to the event’s account, use the appropriate event hashtag.► Feel free to share via outside links to platforms like Poipiku, Privatter, Pixiv, Ao3, etc. (This is recommended for adult content).► Don't feel pressured to post your work publicly. Who we are and our aim
We are a group of Vinland Saga fans that got together after the Askefinn Week 2025 event with the intention of organizing more events focused on a Vinland Saga fandom. Our intent is to create a comfortable and fun place for content creators where they feel safe and free to express themselves artistically. Therefore, we do not tolerate any online harassment or bullying of creators for any reason.We operate on the premise that fanworks are the freedom of expression of the individual person and are not subject to any public publishing codes. For this reason, we oppose censorship and allow works that fall under the "proship" label in all events.We believe that creating an environment that allows creators to share their work with like-minded people without fear of moral criticism will help create a non-toxic atmosphere in fandom.
Why proshipping?
Our approach to the term "proshipping" itself is directly tied to our anti-censorship policy. We believe that anyone who is against censorship of fanworks falls under the definition of the word "proshipper." That is, not only creators who themselves create a certain controversial content, but also those who are not dedicated to opposing that content.Our focus will not only be directed at controversial topics, but we will always welcome any work, even those depicting dark and problematic themes. Vinland Saga is primarily a work of fiction for adults, so it's completely natural from our point of view if adult themes are depicted in its fan works.Finally, we have no enemies. For us, a pro-shipping policy means that all adults are able to consciously and responsibly manage the online space they interact with. Thus, there is no good reason why someone should criticize another fan's work just because they have a different personal philosophy.

All prompts are voluntary. The main goal of the event is to bring rare ships into the spotlight and celebrate Midsummer!
What's a rare ship?
We consider a rare ship to be one that has little or no published fanworks on various platforms.
Due to the nature of the Vinland Saga fandom, we do not limit the definition of a rare ship to a specific platform. For example, if your ship has over 20 works on Ao3, it may still be rare on Pixiv, and so on.
We therefore leave it up to your discretion as to what is a rare ship and what is not. However, avoid the understandably prominent ships like Thornute or Askefinn.
Event's tag used for the socials
Event specific rules:
↠ The main purpose of the event is to increase work on unpopular or unusual ships in the Vinland fandom. Therefore, the prompts are mostly suggestions. You can submit any of your rare ship works during the event period.
↠ We allow threesomes and other forms of poly-ships. After all, polyamory is part of the solstice celebration.
↠ We also allow crack ships and mob ships if the mob character has appeared within the Vinland Saga manga or anime.
↠ However, we don't allow pure OCs. We are sure there will be other events for those.
↠ Please note that our policy is anti-harrassment, thus we accept proship submissions. If you are not comfortable with these topics, please consider whether the event is for you.
